The Agència de l’Habitatge de Catalunya’s 2026 public-solar-reserve call is open 12 May–30 December 2026. Applicants are promoters of new-build or major rehabilitation HPO on a plot with a resolution admitting it to the public solar reserve under TER/607/2025; the project must also have provisional HPO qualification. The call page does not restrict applicants to cooperatives, but a cooperative must be the eligible promoter/awardee for its parcel and meet base 4. Verify the parcel’s award, title, and exact promoter class in the 2026 call bases and call resolution (DOGC document IDs 1018551 and 1043930) before budgeting. The homes are permanently protected: generally rent or cessió d’ús; dret de superfície is allowed only in specified cases. Beneficiary income and price ceilings follow the call bases, not a universal co-op rule.

For rental or use-tenure schemes, support comprises a 28-year subsidy based on the difference between the reference rent in the bases and the maximum rent, plus ICF financing with a 1.5 percentage-point interest subsidy for 20 years. For eligible surface-right homes ICF financing is available without that interest subsidy. Apply through the official AHC/Canal Empresa route within the stated window and call requirements. See ct-icf-habitatge-social-promocio, ct-habitatge-protegit, ct-cooperativa-habitatges, and ct-dret-superficie.

The older HABITATCOOP grant page links only 2021, 2022 and 2023 application, document-submission and justification steps; its 2024 update does not establish a current open call. Treat it as historical, not current funding.
