Munich’s one-stop advice centre for community-oriented housing, funded by the Landeshauptstadt München since 2014 and free to users. It is the practical front door to muenchen-konzeptausschreibung.
- What you get: individual and group advice (Schwindstraße 1, consultation hours Tue 10–14 and Wed 15–19), a Projektbörse and Expertenbörse, an Inklusions- and a Gewerbebörse, the mitbauKOMPAKT guides, and an information evening before each city land tender.
- Why it matters for money: it runs a Sondernewsletter that fires when a plot is tendered — for a group that needs two to three months to build a concept, that alert is the difference between bidding and missing.
- Who it is for: anyone from a single interested person to a formed eG, GbR, e.V. or Syndikat project; no legal form required to walk in.
- Not a funder: it disburses no money and allocates no land. The land comes from the Referat für Stadtplanung und Bauordnung, the money from state and federal lines.
