A member association of over 100 Mitgliedsgruppen that has run Frankfurt’s advice and coordination point for community housing since March 2009. Its advisory work is paid for by a Projektförderung of the Stadt Frankfurt am Main, so the advice is free at the point of use.

  • Six-phase pipeline: Infophase → Konzeptionsphase → Konkretisierungsphase → Bewerbungsphase → Bau-/Anhandgabephase → Einzug. The Bewerbungsphase is explicitly geared to bidding in a frankfurt-konzeptverfahren.
  • Also: a project marketplace, the Infobörse and Tag des offenen Wohnprojekts, and workshops on founding a Genossenschaft.
  • Who: individuals, Wohninitiativen and formed entities alike. Office Adickesallee 67/69; hours Mon and Thu 11–13.
  • Not a funder: the association disburses nothing to project groups. The money is the city’s frankfurt-strukturfoerderung-gemeinschaftliches-wohnen grant and the state lines.

Open question (not a fact): the size of the city’s Projektförderung to the association is not published.
