IGVS procedure VI501B is open 27 August–16 November 2026 (or until its budget is exhausted) for people under 36 acquiring or self-promoting a home in a Galician municipality with no more than 10,000 residents. This is a household route, not capital for a cooperative or a group-owned cohousing project: the home may have at most two natural-person applicants and each applicant must satisfy the age and other conditions. Household income is normally capped at 4.5 IPREM (higher disability thresholds apply); the home must be the applicant household’s habitual residence for five years, and applicants generally cannot own another available home in Spain.
For self-build, the applicant must own or hold usufruct over the plot, works must have started after 1 January 2026 and be complete when applying; purchase homes must already be built. Purchase cost or self-build cost is capped at €250,000 excluding land for self-build. The application is electronic to Xunta/IGVS. The procedure page and DOG bases were checked, but the aid amount is not repeated in the accessible procedure summary; check the resolution annex before relying on a figure. It cites the national housing plan but creates its own open regional call. It does not establish a Galicia call for group cooperative promotion under the national cooperative-housing programme; see es-national-cooperative-collaborative-housing.
