Extremadura’s 2026–2027 Bono Alquiler Joven call paid €250 per month to an eligible young individual toward the attributable rent or use charge of a habitual home or room. It expressly accepts a formal cesión de uso contract; the grant goes to the resident natural person, never to a housing cooperative as project capital. The applicant had to be 35 or younger, have a regular income source and household income normally no higher than 3 IPREM (with 3.5/4-IPREM thresholds where two or at least three young co-beneficiaries share and all are named on the contract). Monthly price ceiling: €600 for a home or €300 for a room. A maximum two-year award is subject to each person’s attributable rent, and no payment may exceed that cost.
The published opening ran three months from 15 July 2026. The DOE then published the end of the call’s validity on 28 August because expected awards would exhaust its available credit; later applications were barred. It is closed as of 5 October, despite the original nominal three-month window. A group member must be named on the current contract/precontract, personally meet eligibility and show the attributable use charge. Verify any replacement call rather than treating the multiannual label as an open application.
