A cooperativa integral under article 136 of Catalonia’s Cooperative Act 12/2015 is a first-degree cooperative combining activities from more than one cooperative class; it is a subtype, not a separate legal personality. The statute’s membership and operating rules for each class apply, including each class’s own minimum-member rule; a cooperative combining housing and consumer activity must check both. Article 12 sets a 10-natural-person minimum for consumer/user cooperatives, compared with two for other first-degree classes (with a third member required within five years); do not assume a combined housing/consumer registration can begin with only two. The Generalitat’s 2026 HabitatgESS call expressly recognizes integral housing-and-consumer cooperatives as eligible applicants when they are registered as such, are nonprofit, and carry out housing promotions in cessió d’ús. The operative project must meet every call requirement; an integral label alone does not qualify a project or waive nonprofit status. For the base housing form and separate statutory nonprofit gate, see ct-cooperativa-habitatges and ct-cooperativa-sense-anim-lucre.
