AHC’s 2026 rural/mountain rehabilitation call explicitly allows applicants who own homes, local administrations, and cooperatives d’habitatges sense ànim de lucre. The home must lie in an eligible municipality/area in the 2026 list and have been vacant for more than two years before the call’s publication; the project is to rehabilitate it for habitual, permanent residence. The 2026 application window ran 18 May–10 September 2026 and is closed as of this check. Thus a Catalan housing cooperative must prove the separate nonprofit status under ct-cooperativa-sense-anim-lucre and property ownership/eligibility; merely having use-tenure statutes is insufficient.
Awards use noncompetitive order of complete applications until budget exhaustion. Grant rate and caps vary by municipality category and intervention under TER/723/2026 bases and TER/1342/2026 call. Check the 2026 municipality table and each call’s eligible works, evidence and maximum amounts; do not treat one locality’s rate as a Catalonia-wide amount. The AHC FAQ confirms the two-year vacancy, beneficiary groups and 2026 dates. A future cohort must be rechecked for new opening dates and terms.
