Swiss foundation (Basel, founded 1990) whose purpose is to “den Boden dem Waren- und Erbstrom und damit dauerhaft der Spekulation entziehen und soziale Wohn- oder Arbeitsstätten fördern”. It is the second address, next to stiftung-trias, when a German group needs someone else to hold the land.
- Active in Germany: “Vor allem in der Schweiz und in Deutschland, aber auch anderswo”, run through five subsidiary companies. Its property list includes Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart and Witten.
- Scale: “über 160 Projekte realisiert oder sichergestellt”, roughly twenty staff.
- The offer, in its own words: “Sie haben die Idee, wir sichern den Boden, damit Sie Ihr Projekt realisieren können.” The foundation buys the property; the group uses it long term. In Switzerland that is a Baurecht; in Germany the equivalent is Erbbaurecht.

Detail
- Also does: Wohnhilfen (rent deposits, help buying Genossenschaftsanteile, moving costs) and Kulturförderung — small household-level support, separate from the land work.
- Path: there is no application form and no published Kriterienkatalog. Contact is direct to Basel and the terms are negotiated per project.
- Open question (not a fact): Maryon publishes no Baurechtszins/Erbbauzins rate, no term, no minimum project size and no eligibility list. Every figure must come from the foundation itself; do not model a stack on assumed trias-like terms.
