Open to “Privatpersonen und gemeinnützige Antragsteller”, any company, “Körperschaften, Stiftungen … kommunale Zweckverbände”, Freiberufler; i.e. the eG/e.V./GmbH borrows in its own name.
- Up to €150 m per Vorhaben, no minimum, up to 100 % of investment cost.
- Terms 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 yr, 1–5 Tilgungsfreijahre, Zinsbindung up to 20 yr. Rate depends on “Standort, wirtschaftliche Verhältnisse und Qualität der Sicherheiten” (risk-priced, EU-Referenzzinssatz-based) — volatile. No grant.
- Gates: private persons must feed electricity/heat into the grid; Balkon- kraftwerke excluded; pure financial participation in Bürgerenergie models excluded.
- Path: Hausbankprinzip (“Kreditinstitut Ihrer Wahl”) with a gewerbliche BzA, before project start.
- Kumulierung: not addressed on the page; KfW’s own 297/298 example stacks it with kfw-297-298. Grid-PV is excluded from kfw-261, so 270 is the designated PV route.
